ICON IN ME — the Russian/Swedish/Danish modern metal band featuring HOSTILE BREED guitarist Dmitry Frans, Danish drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen (SUBMISSION, THE ARCANE ORDER, SCARVE, INSTANT CARNAGE, STRANGLER, SCARVE, SOILWORK) and Swedish vocalist Tony Jelencovich (M.A.N, ex-MNEMIC, TRANSPORT LEAGUE) — will support LAMB OF GOD on May 27 at the Glav Club (legendary DK Gorbunova) in Moscow, Russia.
ICON IN ME is currently writing material for its second album which it hopes to begin recording over the summer. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include “Flood Kills”, “Nuclear Drama”, “Tired and Broken”, “Thousand Wars”, “Wasted Days” and “Face it”. A late fall release is expected.
ICON IN ME‘s video for the song “That Day, That Sorrow” can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Yuri Yeryomin, who has previously worked with the Russian band ARKONA (Napalm Records).The track comes off the band’s debut album, “Human Museum”, which was released in April 2009 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded in November 2007 at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark and was mixed by Jacob Hansen.
According to the band’s official bio, ICON IN ME‘s style can best be described as “modern metal with some thrash, death and hardcore style elements.”
