If you follow us here at Damnation Magazine, you’ve probably noticed a couple of recurring themes: 1.) We love to support and promote our local bands here in the St. Louis, MO-area, 2.) one of those bands, Black Fast, is one with whom we’ve recently become friends (honestly, it’s hard not to), and 3.) it takes me a while to finish what I’ve started (but I do, as I am a man of my word). And as you may recall, the progressive blackened thrashers recently released their debut album, Terms of Surrender, on EOne Music. In addition, the band also released the official music video for the first single on the album, “I, Conspire.” The video was shot on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Brewhouse Music Studios in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, MO. The band treated fans to a sweaty day inside an old warehouse on the campus of the Lemp Brewery, complete with all kinds of beer-induced metal shenanigans. I myself attended the shoot, and photographed the event. Documented below, you can see scenes that made it into the video, the band doing what they do best, the videographers who captured the all of the wonderful madness, and the colorful fans participating in it all, including some much needed breaks from the heat. Please enjoy!
