In this video, I covered a detailed explanation of the LDR (light dependent resistor). About how it works? and how it made?
Like it is made from Lead sulfide or material like Inexpensive cadmium sulfide cells can be found in many consumer items such as camera light meters, clock radios, alarm devices.
I have done a few experiments on how this sensor behaves with the different light spectrum and wave intensity.
It’s a part 1 video soon next part will be uploaded

What are Light Sensors? | Skill-Lync
Light sensors convert light energy into electrical energy. They are found in our tv remote controls, smoke detectors and even our mobile phones.
In this video, we are going to discuss the different types of light sensors. Namely,
Photodiodes It has a PN diode arrangement and is connected in reverse bias. Due to reverse bias a wide depletion region is formed. When light falls on this region it leads to the generation of more electrons and holes which leads to reverse saturation current through it.
Photoresistors A photoresistor is a variable resistor. When light falls on photoresistors, it’s resistance decreases. Which leads current to flow through it.
Phototransistors The phototransistor, works when light falls on its base terminal. The phototransistor, when compared to photodiodes, is more sensitive to the light falling on it.
Chargecoupled devices These are small lightsensitive arrangements used in our camera, which captures the image depending upon the amount of light falling on them. This captured image is then processed on our computer screens.
